A few months ago Cobra Group UK attended premiership football star Rio Ferdinand’s ‘Live The Dream’ Foundation dinner. Rio Ferdinand had launched the Foundation to provide education, training and employment opportunities for young people to achieve and fulfil their ambitions in the field of sport, the arts and cultural activity. The event, hosted by Gavin & Stacey actor James Corden, was attended by prominent personalities like Elton John’s husband David Furnish, Jimmy Choo, Hollywood actor Idris Elba (‘The Wire and The Unborn’), an array of Premiership Footballers, and VIPS from the world of sport, fashion, music and film.
Cobra Group UK made its presence felt by purchasing a table, directly in front of the stage, and vouching full support for the noble venture. The Cobra Group’s Managing Director commented that this is an extension of the sustained effort made by Cobra Group UK to change people’s lives in various aspects and make the world a better place to live in.
