Cobra Group supports couple working for the welfare of kids in the badly affected African country Sierra Leone.
People in Sierra Leone have been afflicted with all kinds of misfortunes, ranging from endemic corruption to suppression of the press and starvation, health issues etc. The country is the twelfth-lowest-ranked country on the Human Development Index and eighth-lowest on the Human Poverty Index. It’s to help underprivileged kids in Kailahun in Sierra Leone that a Lancaster based charity organisation is working. It’s as part of this organisation that Nigel Eastwood and his wife Vijaya have been working. The Cobra Group, through the Cobra Foundation, have been supporting Nigel and Vijay greatly too.
Recently Nigel and Vijaya took part, for the organisation, in a sporting event in Manchester. Their aim was to raise £3000.00 to buy a vehicle to transport the children in Kailahun. Cobra Group sponsored them at the event and thus vouched its support to the noble cause.
