One of the areas in which The Cobra Group scores the most is the charities sector. The company’s charities division has been registering the best of results, acquiring donors for charities and non-profit organisations. The main role that Cobra has been playing is in enlightening potential donors on the importance and need of making donations. The company never acts like a third-party donor acquisition company and merely facilitates the making of donations. It’s also to be noted that Cobra alone accounted for 54% of the total 6,80, 000 donors signed up last year through face-to-face marketing in the UK. (This figure is for the one year ending March 2009). It’s also to be remembered that there is a 16% increase in the number of donors compared to the previous one year, i.e., 2007/08. Cobra’s work in the charities sector has won all kinds of appreciation.
